Early Symptoms Of Autism

Do you know what the early symptoms of autism are? Autism statistics show 1 in 150 children will be diagnosed with autism. These symptoms can be found in an infant as early as 4 to six weeks old.

Here is a list of early symptoms of autism:

Birth to 4 weeks old: You will not see any early symptoms of Autism in infants.

4 to 6 weeks old: The infant will often cry but wont be crying for food.

3 to 4 months old: When you try to play with the infant they don't smile. And they don't seem to recognize parent.

6- 7 months old: Don't seem to want to play with toys. When you try to give them a hug they wont offer their hands. Don't like to put head on the body of adults. Don't talk to themselves.

10- 12 months old: The infant may also show early symptoms of autism if they have a lack of interest in its surrounding. Looks contented while often crying for a long time. Don't know how to play with toys. Repeat actions. Lack of eye contact with the mother. Cannot distinguish who's who. No babbling, pointing or using other gestures. Don't imitate behaviors. Speaks slowly or cannot speak.

21- 24 Your child might show early symptoms of autism if they're not sleeping well or possibly staying up all night at times. Don't chaw food. Likes to stare at quiet things. Often falls over him/herself. Lack of eye contact. Lack of curiosity. Being afraid of the change of the surrounding.

If your infant has most of the early symptoms of autism, then she/he might have Autism and you should consult a doctor.
